My dog LOVES to play fetch. He already knew how to play when I got him, and he knows his reward for giving me the ball is he gets to chase it AGAIN. :D

Woot best video ever taught my dog to fetch in seconds and he is usully the hardest dog to teach because of his short attention span.

That was helpful but my dog has the shortest attention span ever. She's running after it and then she would see something like a bottle cap and then just play with that for twenty minutes.

Working with two fetch items instead of one, that is a wonderful tip! Thank you! I'm going to try that right away. :D

That's great that you know what she likes. Food can be a strong motivator, and so can petting! Check out a tutorial I made on fetch not long ago. Let me know if it helps :-)

Thank you so much for this advice - it works like a dream! Our dog REALLY enjoyed himself and I'm quite excited about playing in the park tomorrow - fingers crossed he doesn't get bored with it :-) |
